• Dr. Abhay Kumar has over 20 years of experience in Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery.

• He has performed more than 8000 open heart surgeries including coronary artery bypass grafting, congenital heart surgery, valve replacement and repair, aortic aneurysm surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, ventricular assist device, and heart transplant.

• His main areas of interest are minimally invasive cardiac surgery, redo cardiac surgery, aortic aneurysm surgery, valve repair /replacements, beating heart coronary bypass, total arterial coronary bypass surgery.

• He has extensive exposure to Paediatric Cardiac surgery, with research work on Bidirectional Glenn, Fontan procedure & Ebstein anomaly.
