• Dr. Abhinandan did his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College, Calcutta University. He did his MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER, Chandigarh) and MCh in Urology from same Institute of National importance (PGIMER, Chandigarh). He has been a bright student throughout his academic career. He secured rank 23rd in the All India PG entrance examination conducted by AIIMS in 2008. He also obtained rank 38 in PGI Chandigarh MD/MS entrance examination. He secured 3rd rank in all India Urology entrance examination conducted by PGI, Chandigarh.

• He specializes in the field of Urology dealing with several Urologic problems ranging from kidney stone disease, male sexual problems and infertility, diseases of the prostate and its management to performance of complex reconstructive procedure for urethral stricture and uro-oncological surgeries. He is well trained and became a part of more than 300 Robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries for Urological Cancers and complex reconstructive procedures during his residency in PGI, Chandigarh.He has worked in several prestigious government and private Urological institutes and presented various research papers and posters in national and international conferences.

• All India rank 3 in the MCh Urology entrance exam conducted by PGI Chandigarh.

• Established the Urology Department and performed  Uro- oncologic surgeries like Radical Cystectomy+ileal conduit and Partial Nephrectomy first time ever in GGS Medical College, Faridkot, Punjab
