Dr. Abhinibesh Chatterjee

• Dr. Abhinibesh Chatterjee is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Columbia Asia Hospital in Kolkata.

• A highly qualified doctor; he completed his MBBS from N.R.S. Medical College, University of Calcutta, Calcutta in 1993 and further pursued DGO&DNB (G&O), both from Medical College, Calcutta in 1998 and 2000 respectively; MRCOG from UK in 1999 and MACOG from USA in 2003.

• Having worked for over 23 years, he has been working as SHO in Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, South Wales; and as a Visiting Obstetrician & Gynecologist in leading hospitals across the city like Bhagirathi Neotia WCC and Apollo Gleneagles Hospital etc.

• Because of his academic excellence, he has been awarded a number of times like Fellowship awarded by R.S.M. India and has also completed other courses namely Advanced fertility course of FOGSI etc.

• He has been trained in India, UK and Germany has been performing advanced endoscopic surgeries after returning from UK 6 years back.

• He has researched extensively and authored various publications, papers and oral presentations on ‘Male Contraception’, ‘HIV in Obstetrics’ etc., which he delivered at National Conferences.
