Dr. Abraham Mammen

• Dr. Abraham Mammen is Senior Consultant & Head of the Pediatric Surgery Department.

• He is not only an expert in surgery but also possess vast skills in handling hospital administration.

• He is the NABH accreditation coordinator of Aster MIMS since 2010.

• He is deputy CMS, completed his medical graduation from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore with a gold medal in Clinical Surgery.

• He then completed his MS in General Surgery from CMC, Vellore and M. Ch in Pediatric Surgery from IMCH, Calicut.

• The surgeon polished his skills in a better way after the Pediatric and Neonatal surgical training at Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.

• He is the fellow of the Indian Society of Pediatric Urology and also a member of Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India (PESI) and International Pediatric Endo-surgery Group (IPEG).

• The non-medical qualification includes Post Graduate Diploma in Medico Legal Systems (PGDMLS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital & Health Management.

• He plays a key role in NABH Quality surveillance in Indian Hospitals.

• He has been with NABH as senior Assessor from 2006.

• He has assessed more than 25 hospitals across the country sofas.

• He also assessed more than 30 Program of Implementation (POI) in various places so far.
