• Dr. Sharma earned his MBBS and MD (Medicine) degrees from GSVM Medical College in Kanpur, India. He also obtained his MRCP (UK) from the Royal College of Physicians in London.

 

• He was given the opportunity to complete his cardiology training in the United Kingdom at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, a prestigious tertiary referral hospital in northern England.

• He is registered with the Ministry of Health in the UAE, the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom, the Medical Council of India, and the Delhi Medical Council.

• He is a practising cardiologist with over thirty years of experience at hospitals in India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. He is currently a visiting consultant cardiologist at Max Healthcare in New Delhi, India.

• He has spoken at several conferences in the UAE and has attended numerous international conferences pertinent to his specialty. His Health Talk show on HUM FM radio in the UAE was warmly received by listeners.

• He belongs to the Royal College of Physicians in London, the European Society of Cardiology, the European Heart Failure Society, the European Prevention and Rehabilitation Society, and the American Society of Echocardiography.
