About Doctor DR. AJIT RAVINDRA DHAKE
- From 2008 until August 2011, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Hospital in Mumbai. This is a 1200 bed Level 1 tertiary referral facility in the state of Maharashtra, and it is India's first medical college to provide a
trauma fellowship programme. It is also India's first hospital to feature a skin bank and a burns unit.
- From September 2011 until April 2018, he worked as a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon at the Ahalia Group of Hospitals in Abu Dhabi.
- During this time, he also completed a diploma in laparoscopic surgery, a one-year hybrid programme connected with the College of Minimal Access Surgeons in Coimbatore.
- In January 2018, he completed a fellowship programme for laparoscopic upper GI surgery at Fortis Hospital in New Delhi.
- His main areas of interest are GERD laparoscopic antireflux surgery, thyroid surgery, and laparoscopic colorectal surgery.
- Since 2018, he has also been a fellow of the American College of Surgeons
