About Dr. Ameet Kishore
He received his training at the National Centre for Cochlear Implantation (UK) in 1995 and so has considerable expertise in deafness care and cochlear implantation.
He founded and directed Apollo Hospitals' cochlear and hearing implant programmes . In this programme, he has almost 700 cochlear implant patients.
He is also the Hon. Secretary of India's Cochlear Implant Group.
He graduated from the AFMC Pune and was granted the ENT medal. He received his advanced surgical training in ENT surgery in the United Kingdom, where he earned Fellowships in both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
His team specialises in the care of difficult cochlear conditions and runs the only current Auditory Brainstem Implantation programme in North India.
For individuals with hearing loss, this programme also offers Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA), Bonebridge, and Vibrant Soundbridge middle ear implants as alternatives.
