• He is a board-certified surgeon by the American Board of Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
• His major areas of interest include Endovascular Diabetic Foot Treatment, Dialysis Access and Maintenance,
  Aortic Dissections and Aneurysms of the Thoracic and Abdominal Aorta, Venous Disease, and Wound Care.
• As part of his more than 7,500 Vascular and Endovascular surgeries, he has conducted numerous firsts in Vascular Surgery in the Middle East. These include the region's first successful atherectomy, the first use of a Drug-Eluting Peripheral Stent, and the first use of the Venaseal system.
• He has also written a book on Endovascular Interventions which is quite famous among the other researchers.
