• Dr Mehta is known for his invention of Abelcet (Liposomal amphotercin B) which across the globe is used to treat fungal infection especially in cancer patients.

• At this very place is where Dr Verma followed his soul interest of contributing towards newer cancer treatment which led him to find a novel treatment for Pancreatic cancer for which he holds a USA Patent entitled “Methods For Treating Cancer Targeting Transglutaminase” which has gained fame and recognition.
