About Doctor DR. ARUP KUMAR HALDER

• Dr Arup Halder is a consultant Pulmonologist, passed MBBS from Bankura Medical College in 1999.
• He pursued Diploma in Child Health, DCH from Chittaranjan Sishu Sadan and did his M.D. in Respiratory Medicine from Calcutta National Medical College.
• After doing
  postgraduation he joined Columbia Asia Hospital as Registrar in ICU, where he later became consultant.
• He did his training in Sleep Medicine first from Mumbai and Now he is attached as senior consultant in Pulmonology in Columbia Asia Hospital and Woodlands Hospital.
• He is in charge of Sleep division of Institute of Sleep Science and Sleep Vision, Kolkata.
• He has 8 publications in national and International journal and he performed as a speaker in national and International forum.
• He is a member of Indian Society of Sleep disorder Association, Indian Chest Society, European Respiratory Society and Indian Medical Association (IMA).

• Elected as 'Doctor of the Year' at Columbia Asia Hospital, 2011
• Secured First position for paper presentation entitled 'Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy in Solitary Pulmonary Module' at 12th Annual Conference of Bronchocon, Kolkata, Jan. 2007.
• Secured First position for paper presentation entitled ‘A Study of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Elderly’ at the 10th Annual Conference of ACP, March 2007 in Kolkata 2007
