About Doctor DR. ASHRAF ABDELKAFY

His first Knee Arthroscopy Fellowship was in 2004-2005 in Vienna, Austria, where he spent a year in the arthroscopy department at Orthopedic Hospital Speising. In 2006, he began a Trauma Fellowship at the BG Unfallklinik Hospital in Tübingen, Germany.
In 2008, he was
awarded a second Knee Arthroscopy Fellowship at Kantonsspital Bruderholz in Basel, Switzerland.
In 2009, he added a Knee Arthroscopy Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the United States.
In 2012, he did another Knee Arthroscopy Traveling Fellowship, visiting eight knee facilities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and France.
In 2013, he completed his final Knee Fellowship at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
He has been an Asst. Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Suez Canal University in Ismailia, Egypt, since January 2015, and he is highly engaged in research, having published more than 20 publications in major orthopaedic scientific journals.
In addition, he is involved in the organisation and participation in national and international conferences.
He belongs to several prominent orthopaedic associations, including the EOA, EGAA, ESSKA, AO, and ISAKOS.
