• He holds fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology from the Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi and the Royal Children's Hospital at the University of Melbourne.

• He earned his MBBS in 1990 from Delhi University, his MD in Pediatrics in 1994 from Delhi University, and his Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology in 2003 from the University of Melbourne.

• His medical interests include Cardiac interventions in newborns, Interventional closure of cardiac defects – ASD, VSD, PDA, Coarct balloon dilatation stenting, Stent implantation in pulmonary arteries, Perioperative cardiac interventions for complex cardiac lesions, and Echo imaging in complex cardiac abnormalities, foetal echocardiography.
