Dr. Biswajyoti Hazarika has been doing head and neck surgery for the past 16 years. His specialty is surgery for tumors and cancers of the head and neck. He is a skilled surgeon who specializes in reconstructive restoration of resected parts as well as endoscopic and limited access surgery in the head and neck region. His most recent purchase was robotic head and neck surgery. Dr. Hazarika is particularly interested in the functional rehabilitation of all head and neck cancer patients, in addition to surgical operations. Head and Neck Tumor / Cancer Surgery: Tumor cells that started to produce in the head or neck consequently lead to grow further and expand to other parts of the body. To prevent this, surgery is done on the patients with neck and head cancers by removing the tumor cells from the targeted areas.
External Beam Radiation for Prostate Cancer: External beam radiation for prostate cancer kills cancer cells by using high-energy beams such as X-rays or protons. During the treatment, a machine called a linear accelerator generates high-energy beams that are directed towards your prostate gland.

Treatment for breast cancers often involve surgical procedures which remove the tumor cells from the breast preventing to expand more.
Stem Cell Transplantation: This process involves a patient which receives healthy stem cells (blood-forming cells) to replace their own stem cells that have been damaged by radiation or high-dose treatment with chemotherapy. The competent stem cells may originate from the patient's blood or bone marrow, or from an identical or similar donor.
Lung Cancer Treatment: Lung cancer is a kind of cancer that develops in lung tissues, most commonly in the cells that lining the passageways into the lungs. Surgery including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, or a combination of these therapies may be used to treat it. Small cell lung cancer is often treated with radiation treatment and chemotherapy.
