Dr Deb Kumar Ray is a renowned practicing surgeon in Kolkata, India since year 2001 after his return from the UK being trained in Solent centre for digestive diseases, Portsmouth.UK.
After obtaining MS degree from Jabalpur, MP(India), he got vast training in the UK for 7 years
in the field of Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic surgery.
Currently he is attached to multispecialty hospital in Salt Lake City and has performed more than 10000 laparoscopic procedures and complex G I Surgery like Whipple's operation, gastrectomy and laparoscopic colectomies.
He also practices at AMRI Hospitals in Salt Lake, Kolkata.
He completed MBBS from Calcutta University in 1988 and MS - General Surgery from Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya in 1993
He holds a membership in West Bengal Medical Council.
