He has been treating Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) problems for 45 years.
Has taught MBBS, DLO, and MS (Master of Surgery) students in ENT.
He earned his MBBS from Punjab University in 1963 and his MS - ENT from the same institution in 1967.
He received training in ear microsurgery in the United Kingdom.
He is the author of the book 'Diseases of the Ear, Nose, and Throat published by Elsevier', which is now in its fourth edition, as well as the author of the book 'Self education and self-assessment manual of ENT Ex Medical Superintendent University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital, Delhi.
