• Assoc. Prof. Erol Çakmak completed his medical studies in 1997 from the Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine and further went on to get a specialization degree in 2013 from the Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine. 

• He started his career in 1997 by working at Yozgat Çekerek Health Center and is currently working at the renowned Medicana Sivas Hospital, along with giving lectures at Cumhuriyet University.

• He is known for providing stellar treatment for multiple diseases and disorders, including Celiac disease, Celiac disease, Diagnosis and treatment of gastritis and ulcer disease, and liver diseases.

• He also specializes in executing multiple surgeries effectively, like Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Rectoscopy, Polypectomy, and Gis stent placement.

• He has over 24 years of experience as a Gastroenterologist and has particularly made a name for himself when it comes to Diagnosis and treatment of reflux disease.

• He has primarily worked with eight hospitals during his tenure and has cured multiple patients with different types of procedures.
