• Dr Fadl H Veerankutty comes with more than 7 years of overall experience in the field of gastrointestinal surgery and liver transplantation.

• He obtained his basic medical graduation from Calicut medical college and post graduate degree in general surgery from government medical college, Thrissur.

• He started his career in gastrointestinal surgery and liver transplantation in the department of hepatopancreaticobiliary and liver transplant surgery at Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum.

• Before joining at VPS Lakeshore family, he was working as a consultant in the department of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery at Travancore Medical College hospital, Kollam.

• He sharpened his skills in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery during his superspeciality training in surgical gastroenterology at Aster Medcity, Cochin.

• He performs laparoscopic surgeries for gallbladder stones, liver tumors, pancreatic tumors, colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, cancer of esophagus, achalasia cardiac, gastroesophageal reflux disease etc.

• He has published many articles in indexed journals and is a reviewer for many reputed national and international journals. He is being invited by international medical journals to write expert reviews on various topics related to gastroenterology and hepatology.

• He has bagged many awards in various national and state level surgical conferences.

• His area of interests are liver transplantation and minimally invasive gastrointestinal oncosurgery.
