Dr. Geeta has over 21 years of experience as a surgeon and has 17 years of experience in surgical oncology. Breast Cancer is her area of interest.ย
She has wide experience in performing the entire array of breast surgeries and has pioneered the establishment of sentinel lymph node biopsy and oncoplastic breast surgery as standard procedures in Max Hospital.ย
She has spearheaded the formation of a Breast Support Group, a forum which extends โCare beyond cureโ to breast cancer patients twice a month. She has also done MCh Breast Oncoplastic Masterclass in collaboration with University of East Anglia, UKย
Actively engaged in performing the entire range of surgeries recommended for breast cancer including modified radical mastectomies, breast conservation surgeries.
She is a Member of Indian Society of Oncology and Secretary of Delhi Breast Oncology Group.
