• At Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, she performed the first hysteroscopic surgery.

• She specialises in all major and complex gynaecological procedures, including vaginal, open abdominal, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy.

• She graduated from Lucknow University with an MBBS in 1976, a DGO in 1978, and an MD in 1980.

• She is a member of the Indian Council of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA).

• She is a Life Member of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of India (FOGSI), the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE), and the International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ISGE) (ISGE).

• She is also a Life Member of the Delhi Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AOGD), the National Association of Reproductive and Child Health of India (NARCHI), and the Indian Menopause Society (IMS).
