Dr. Hrishikesh Pai is an experienced and well-known Obstetrician and Gynecologist in India. He has over 40 years of successful experience and was involved in developing India's first Assisted Laser Hatching Unit. In addition, he is a pioneer in the field of micromanipulation in India.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) : In vitro fertilization (IVF) is one of various treatments available to aid people who are having difficulty having a baby. During IVF, an egg is extracted from the woman's ovaries and fertilized in a laboratory with sperm. The fertilized egg, known as an embryo, is subsequently returned to the woman's womb to develop and grow.
Assisted laser hatching : LAH is a laboratory method that uses an ultramodern laser to gently thin the outer shell (zona pellucida) of a fertilized egg. The embryo has a better chance of correctly hatching if its outer shell is thinned and may improve the odds of implantation and pregnancy.
Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection : Intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a method of treating infertility. In a laboratory, live sperm is injected into a person's eggs. This treatment has the potential to produce an embryo (fertilized egg).
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) : Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility procedure that improves the chances of sperm fertilizing an egg. For certain couples and individuals, this therapy may increase their chances of becoming pregnant.
Ovulation Induction Procedure : It is a type of infertility treatment in which fertility medicines are used to induce the release of one or more eggs from the ovary. To achieve pregnancy, intrauterine insemination (IUI) is often done in combination with ovulation induction.
Male Infertility Treatment : Male infertility can be caused by poor sperm production, defective sperm function, or sperm delivery obstructions. Male infertility may be caused by illnesses, injuries, chronic health issues, lifestyle choices, and other causes. While medicine or surgery can be used to treat male infertility in some circumstances, in most cases, assisted reproductive technology including in-vitro fertilization is the preferred method.
Ovarian Drilling (Multiperforation) : This technique enhances how the ovaries create and respond to hormones, boosting the likelihood of ovulation. A laparoscope (a camera) is inserted via a tiny incision, generally just below the belly button, to deliver heat or laser to the ovaries.
Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery : A gynecological laparoscopy is a surgery that allows doctors to examine the interior of the pelvis. It enables the surgeon to examine the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. A laparoscope is a narrow, illuminated tube with a camera at the end that is introduced into the belly through a tiny incision and then observed more closely.
Hysterectomy (Abdominal/Vaginal) : The uterus is removed during a hysterectomy. Females are not able to get pregnant or menstruate after a hysterectomy. The removal of the uterus is a popular therapy for a range of disorders affecting a woman's reproductive organs.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Treatment : PCOS is a frequent hormonal issue among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may not ovulate, have elevated testosterone levels, and have several tiny cysts on their ovaries. The doctor often recommends medications as a first-line treatment. In case of severe abnormalities, surgical treatment is done in which the ovaries are surgically treated with heat or a laser to remove the tissue that produces androgens.
Phalloplasty : The surgical construction of a penis is known as phalloplasty. Surgeons utilize one or more coverings of skin and other tissues harvested from a donor site on the patient’s body (typically your forearm) to build a penis and urethra.
Vaginoplasty : Any surgical operation that results in the building or reconstruction of the vagina is referred to as a vaginoplasty. It's a kind of genitoplasty. This procedure is often treated with one or more vaginal procedures.
Laparoscopic Surgery : Laparoscopy is a surgical procedure that allows a physician to reach the interior of the belly and pelvis without making extensive skin incisions. This treatment involves inserting narrow tubes into the belly through small incisions. Long, slender instruments are introduced via these trochars. These devices are used by the surgeon to manipulate, cut, and seal tissues.
