• Dr. Kamal Buckshee is one of Delhi's greatest gynaecologists, with over two decades of experience in the area. She works with Fortis La Femme in GK II, New Delhi, as a senior consultant.

• She was the first Indian obstetrician and gynaecologist to design and standardise in utero foetal skin biopsy, foetal diagnosis, and in utero blood transfusion, as well as uterine balloon therapy for patients with dysfunctional uterine haemorrhage.

• Her other areas of expertise include PCOS, hyperandrogenism, plastic reconstructive surgery of the vaginal and cervix, microsurgery, infertility, teenage gynaecology, gynaecologic oncology, and high-risk pregnancy in the field of gynaecological endocrinology.

• Her quest for innovation in obstetrics and gynaecology, particularly in terms of quality care and ethics, is never-ending.

• She has over 250 articles in national and international journals to her credit.
