• For the last 38 years, he already has extensive expertise in cardiology.

• His specialty is cardiology, with a subspecialty in noninvasive cardiology. He completed his fellowship in non-invasive cardiology at Birmingham's UAB Hospital in 1986-1988. From 1988 until 1995, he served as a senior consultant (noninvasive cardiology) at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

• In 2004, he pioneered Adenosine Stress Echo at Apollo Hospital.

• In addition, in 1990, he pioneered the use of the foetal echocardiogram at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

• He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a member of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography (FESC).

• He also has his own clinic in Noida where he has trained over a hundred doctors in echocardiography.
