Dr. Madhav Rao became a Consultant Ophthalmologist/Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon with more than 15 years of clinical and surgical
expertise.
In 2003, he was elected to the Indian National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).
After completing his post-graduate degree, r. Madhav Rao became a Consultant Ophthalmologist/Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon with more than 15 years of clinical and surgical expertise.
In 1995, he received his MBBS from Kuvempu University in Karnataka, India, and in 2000, he received his MS in Ophthalmology from Saurashtra University in Gujarat, India.
He earned his Diplomate in National Board Examination a year later (DNB, Ophthalmology). In 2002, he became a fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow, UK) and completed a two-year fellowship at the prominent Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India, in medical and surgical diseases of the vitreous and retina.
