• He is an Ophthalmologist with 15 years of experience in the field.

• He is a Life Member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), an International Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), and also Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC).

• He has been a brilliant student all along and won several allocates such as MBBS - Gold Medal in Eye and ENT - LH Hiranandani Prize, MS - Gold Medal - GT Mazumdar Prize, and FMRF - Best Research Fellow Prize - Swarnalatha Punshi Prize.

• He completed his MS - Basic training in Ophthalmology from K.E.M College, the University of Mumbai in 2001, MRCOphth - Advanced training and expertise from Royal College London in Cataract and Retinal diseases in 2004, and also Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina  - Well rounded training from the Premier Eye Institute of India in 2008.
