Male Infertility Treatment: Male infertility can be caused by poor sperm production, defective sperm function, or sperm delivery obstructions. Male infertility may be caused by illnesses, injuries, chronic health issues, lifestyle choices, and other causes. Medicine or surgery can be used to treat male infertility. In most cases, assisted reproductive technology including in-vitro fertilization is the preferred method.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility procedure that improves the chances of sperm fertilizing an egg. For certain couples and individuals, this therapy may increase their chances of becoming pregnant.
Ovarian Drilling (Multiperforation): This technique is used to enhance how the ovaries create and respond to hormones, therefore boosting the likelihood of ovulation. A laparoscope (a camera) is inserted via a tiny incision, generally just below the belly button, to deliver heat or laser to the ovaries.
Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery: A gynecological laparoscopy is a surgery that allows doctors to examine the interior of pelvis. It enables the surgeon to examine the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. A laparoscope is a narrow, illuminated tube with a camera at the end that is introduced into the belly through a tiny incision and then observed more closely.
Surrogacy: Surrogacy involves a person agreeing to carry and give birth to a baby for someone else. After the baby is born, the birth parent gives custody and guardianship to the intended parent or parents. Surrogacy has complex legal and medical steps that must be met by both parents and the consultant.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF): In vitro fertilization (IVF) is one of various treatments available to aid people who are having difficulty having a baby. During IVF, an egg is extracted from the woman's ovaries and fertilized in a laboratory with sperm. The fertilized egg, known as an embryo, is subsequently returned to the woman's womb to develop and grow.
Hysterectomy (Abdominal/Vaginal): The uterus is removed during a hysterectomy. Female is not able to get pregnant or menstruate after a hysterectomy. The removal of the uterus is a popular therapy for a range of disorders affecting a woman's reproductive organs.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Treatment: PCOS is a frequent hormonal issue among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may not ovulate, have elevated testosterone levels, and have several tiny cysts on their ovaries. Medications are often recommended by the doctor as a first line treatment. In case of severe abnormalities, surgical treatment is done in which the ovaries are surgically treated with heat or a laser to remove the tissue that produces androgens
Vaginoplasty: Any surgical operation that results in the building or reconstruction of the vagina is referred to as a vaginoplasty. It's a kind of genitoplasty. Pelvic organ prolapse is frequently treated with one or more vaginal procedures.
Laparoscopic Surgery: Laparoscopy is a surgical procedure that allows a physician to reach the interior of the belly and pelvis without making extensive skin incisions. This treatment involves inserting narrow tubes into the belly through small incisions. Long, slender instruments are introduced via these trochars. These devices are used by the surgeon to manipulate, cut, and suture tissues.
Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC): Giving birth via your vagina after having previously undergone a caesarean section is known as vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC).
Urethral Valves: Urethral valves develop when a kid is born with additional tissue flaps that have formed in the urethra. Endoscopic incision of the valves is a surgical treatment used to treat urethral valves. This is a surgical procedure that cuts away unnecessary valve tissues.
Ovulation Induction Procedure: It is a type of infertility treatment in which fertility medicines are used to induce the release of one or more eggs from the ovary. To achieve pregnancy, intrauterine insemination (IUI) is often done in combination with ovulation induction.
Obstetrics: A field of medicine dedicated to the care of women during pregnancy and delivery as well as the identification and treatment of illnesses affecting the female reproductive system.
