• Dr. Munish is currently working at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, as an Associate Consultant Critical Care Medicine.

• Dr. Munish Chauhan is a Principal Consultant – Nephrology and he started & established a Renal Transplant unit at Max Hospital, Mohali. 

• He is MD in Anesthesia and some of his other degrees are European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC), Fellowship of The National Board Examination (F.N.B.) in Critical Care Medicine (Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi).

• His specialization includes Particular interest in Kidney Transplantation (Clinical Immunosuppression, Pre-emptive Kidney Transplantation, ABO Incompatible Transplantation),Hypertension and prevention of progression of Kidney Disease, Chronic Peritoneal Dialysis (Home-based Renal Replacement Therapy)

• He has also worked in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi as Registrar in 2009-2010 and Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi as Registrar during F.N.B. Critical Care 2010-2012.

• He has  performed over 100 transplants every year since the inception of the Transplant Unit in 2013.

• He has trained several dialysis nursing and technical staff.
