Dr. N Arulvanan

• Dr. N Arulvanan is presently Senior Consultant, Department of General and Minimal invasive surgery at our hospital. 

• He has been with us for the past nine years of which he is involved in the General and Laparoscopic surgery, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. 

• He completed his MS (General Surgery) from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), a premier institute in India, where he also did his post-doctoral training. 

• He underwent laparoscopic training in India as well as abroad. 

• He was further trained in Minimal Access, Bariatric Surgery at Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. He also visited New Life Centre for Bariatric Surgery, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, as visiting fellow. 

• He has attended many international and national level conferences related to Minimal access Surgery and Bariatric Surgery to periodically update his skills.

• Special Interest General Surgery and Laparoscopic surgery, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery.
