Dr. N P Kamalesh

• Dr. N P Kamalesh is a Surgical Gastroenterologist with +10 years of experience in conducting surgeries on patients with complications in the GI tract.

• He is a graduate of Coimbatore Medical College (1997). He did his MD in General Surgery from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai (2003) and FAMS from Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India. He holds a DNB qualification in GI surgery from PVS Hospital, Kochi. Some of his advanced degrees from international institutions include, FACS from the American College of Surgeons and FICS from the International College of Surgeons.

• He is also trained in advanced hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation from Asan Medical Center, South Korea.

• He is an expert at performing complex hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal surgeries. He is reputed to perform surgeries for tumor and cancers of colon, rectum, stomach, liver, pancreas, gall bladder and esophagus. He is particularly interested in upper GI surgery and laparoscopic colorectal surgeries.
