• Dr. Nischal is a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon at Fortis.

• He has performed various paediatric and adult cardiothoracic and vascular procedures including multiple paediatric redo surgeries.

• He completed his M.B.B.S from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, followed by M.S (Master of Surgery, General Surgery) from B.J Medical College (Gujarat University). He later did his M.Ch (Magister Chirurgiae) in Cardio Vascular and Thoracic surgery from The Christian Medical College, Vellore (The Tamil Nadu Dr. M G R Medical University, Tamil Nadu). 

• His area of special interest and expertise include congenital cardiac surgeries (neonatal and infantile).

• He also has a keen interest in paediatric valve repairs, cyanotic congenital heart disease, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support, assist devices and heart transplants.
