48 Years of Experience
Dr. Pradeep Chowbey is a member of India's first group of pioneering laparoscopic surgeons. He was one of the first surgeons in North India to conduct a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. He has dedicated his professional life to the advancement of minimal access, metabolic, and bariatric surgery in India. His invention of laparoscopic surgery was a turning point in Indian medicine. In 1996, Dr. Chowbey founded the first facility of its sort in Asia, the Minimal Access and Bariatric Surgery Center at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. Dr. Pradeep Chowbey is offering the following treatment procedures:
Abdominoperineal Resection: It is a surgical procedure in which an abdominal incision is used during surgery to remove the anus, the rectum, and a portion of the sigmoid colon. Body waste is collected in a disposable bag outside the body, and the end of the intestine is linked to an aperture in the surface of the belly.
Abscess: Intra-abdominal Treatment: In order to heal the abdomen, an intra-abdominal abscess frequently requires fluid drainage. However, often, antibiotics are also administered in addition to emptying the abscess.
Abscess Pelvic Treatment: A pelvic abscess is a collection of pus that usually develops after lower abdominal surgeries or as a side effect of pelvic inflammatory disease. In order to treat patients, doctors frequently recommend antibiotics.
Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal): The surgical removal of the gallbladder is known as a cholecystectomy. Cholecystectomy is a common treatment for symptomatic gallstones and other gallbladder issues.
Epididymal Cyst Removal: The surgery to remove these cysts from the scrotum is known as epididymal cystectomy or excision. Open surgery is not necessary when the fluid can be removed with a needle and ultrasound guidance. Although the cysts are more likely to return following needle drainage,
Hydrocele Operation: Adult: A hydrocele is a fluid-filled sac that surrounds the testicle. A hydrocelectomy is a procedure to remove or treat a hydrocele. The process is often finished in under an hour. Risks might include delayed healing, infection, bruising, edema, and scarring.
Pilonidal Sinus: A pilonidal sinus is a little opening or tunnel in the skin that can be found where the buttocks separate (the cleft) at the top. It does not usually result in symptoms, and treatment is only necessary if it contracts an infection.
Spleen Removal: Spleen Removal is the surgical removal of the spleen. This procedure is performed when the spleen isn't functioning correctly or is injured, diseased, or oversized. Partial splenectomy refers to the removal of only a portion of the spleen.
Gastric Bypass Surgery: A form of bariatric, or weight loss, surgery is gastric bypass. The doctor often alters the stomach and small intestine during gastric bypass surgery to observe how they absorb and digest meals.
