He is a Gold Medallist from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGI, Chandigarh) for his MS (Surgery) in
1993 and M.Ch. CTVS with honors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.Before joining Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, he worked as faculty in AIIMS for 10 years and was Senior Consultant & Director of Academic Program at Dr K M Cherian Heart Foundation, Chennai.
He was Hon. Professor at the Heart Institute (INCOR) & Zerbini Foundation Sao Paulo Brazil – One of the most important and pioneering centers in the world with experience of 1.5 lac open-heart surgeries since 1958.
He was Hon Consultant at Al-Bassel Heart Institute, Damascus, Syria, and was a visiting consultant at the Penang University Hospital, Penang, Malaysia.
He was also Hon. Consultant, University of Ecuador, Hospital Carlos Andrade Mann, Quito, Ecuador.
Has successfully performed more than 10,000 Beating Heart Surgeries and vast exposure in Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery, Valve Surgery, Valve Repair, Congenital Heart Surgery, and Heart Transplant Surgeon
