• He has received Fellowships from the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions USA, the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the International Medical Science Academy in recognition of his knowledge and contributions.

• He has done over 9000 invasive/interventional operations and developed interventional cardiology services in several locations in India as well as neighbouring countries (Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam).

• The Honorable Governor of UP has also named him Honorary Professor of Cardiology at LPS Institute of Cardiology, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, in recognition of his extraordinary contribution in the area of Medicine Cardiology and overall contributions to the community.
