• Dr. Pruthu Narendra Dhekane graduated from the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences followed by an internship at the prestigious Padm. Dr. D. Y Patil Medical College and Yeshwantrao Chavan Hospital, Pune.

• He then went on to pursue an MD in Internal Medicine. He completed FNB in Infectious Disease from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, India.

• Dr. Dhekane has good exposure in treating various infectious diseases like Community and Hospital-acquired pneumonia, infective endocarditis, Osteomyelitis, Meningitis, Diabetic foot infections, SSTIs, Surgical and post-operative infections. He also specializes in the treatment of tropical illnesses like Tuberculosis, MDR/XDR Tuberculosis, Melioidosis, Histoplasmosis, Leishmaniasis, Leprosy, Malaria.

• Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, he has actively managed patients of all categories - mild, moderate, severe, Working on a daily basis in COVID units.
