In 2002, he completed DM (Neurology) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and DNB (Neurology) from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
He has membership in International Headache Society, Indian Academy of Neurology, Indian Stroke Association, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Movement Disorder Society.
He has many national and international publications in peer reviewed journals.
