He is a cancer surgeon with nearly a decade of oncology experience.
dir="ltr" role="presentation">He earned his superspecialized degree (M.Ch.) in surgical oncology from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, which is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute.
He earned his M.B.B.S. from the Government Medical College in Dhule and his M.S. (General Surgery) from a renowned institute in the country, the I.P.G.M.E.R. (Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research) in Kolkata, both of which are affiliated with the West Bengal Health University.
He has published numerous research papers in national and international journals and has presented scientific papers and posters at numerous conferences, winning first prize for his poster presentation at ASICON2010.
He spent three years at IPGMER Kolkata's breast cancer unit, where he received training in oncoplastic breast surgery.
He has also worked as a surgical oncology clinical associate at the Asian Cancer Institute and Saifee Hospital.
