Dr. Rajan P

• Dr. Rajan completed his MBBS from Calicut Medical College in the year 1972, MS from the same institution in 1976 and FRCS from Glasgow in 1986.

• He has had extensive experience working in Calicut Medical College and in the Ministry of Health, UAE.

• He was also employed at PVS Hospital, Calicut where he is currently rendering his services on a consultancy basis.

• He was Professor and Head of the department of Surgery of Calicut Medical College.

• He has a brilliant academic record, which includes several gold medals and he was also the Best Outgoing Student of Calicut Medical College MBBS batch in 1972.

• He has presented various academic and research papers and has also delivered Calicut Medical College the Alumni Oration in 1996 and Professor Ragavachari oration in 2005 on the topic “Peptic Ulcers”.

• The Government of Kerala appointed him as Emeritus Professor of Surgery Calicut Medical College.

• He was Secretary of Association of Surgeons of India Kerala chapter.

• He has Delivered Mohandas memorial award oration in the year 2012(A.S.I).

• Received best faculty award (A.S.I. Kerala chapters 2014).
