Dr. Ramen Goel is offering the following treatment procedures:
Gastric Bypass Surgery: Gastric bypass is a form of bariatric, or weight loss, surgery. The doctor often does this to alter the stomach and small intestine during gastric bypass surgery to change how they absorb and digest meals.ย
Ileal Interposition Surgery: Ileal interposition, in its simplest form, refers to the procedure of replacing the first and final segments of the small intestine. This procedure is performed to block the hormones that promote insulin resistance and raise the levels of hormones that enhance insulin sensitivity.
Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal): The surgical removal of the gallbladder is known as a cholecystectomy. Cholecystectomy is a common treatment for symptomatic gallstones and other gallbladder issues.
Sleeve Gastrectomy: A bariatric treatment called gastric sleeve surgery is performed to remove 75โ80% of the stomach. A portion of the stomach is divided and removed from the body during a sleeve gastrectomy. The stomach's remaining portion is shaped into a tube-like structure.
Abscess: Intra-abdominal Treatment: In order to heal the abdomen, an intra-abdominal abscess frequently requires fluid drainage. However, often, antibiotics are also administered in addition to emptying the abscess.ย
Abdominoperineal Resection: It is a surgical procedure in which an abdominal incision is used during surgery to remove the anus, the rectum, and a portion of the sigmoid colon. Body waste is collected in a disposable bag outside the body, and the end of the intestine is linked to an aperture in the surface of the belly.
Abscess Pelvic Treatment: A pelvic abscess is a collection of pus that usually develops after lower abdominal surgeries or as a side effect of pelvic inflammatory disease. In order to treat patients, doctors frequently recommend antibiotics.
Epididymal Cyst Removal: The surgery to remove these cysts from the scrotum is known as epididymal cystectomy or excision. Open surgery is not necessary when the fluid can be removed with a needle and ultrasound guidance. Although the cysts are more likely to return following needle drainage.ย
Hydrocele Operation: Adult: A hydrocele is a fluid-filled sac that surrounds your testicle. A hydrocelectomy is a procedure to remove or treat a hydrocele. The process is often finished in under an hour. Risks might include delayed healing, infection, bruising, edema, and scarring. The healing process might take two weeks or longer.
Pilonidal Sinus: A pilonidal sinus is a little opening or tunnel in the skin that can be found where the buttocks separate (the cleft) at the top. It does not usually result in symptoms, and treatment is only necessary if it contracts an infection.
Spleen Removal: Spleen Removal is the surgical removal of the spleen. It is done when the spleen isn't functioning correctly or is injured, diseased, or oversized. Partial splenectomy refers to the removal of only a portion of the spleen.
