Dr. Ranjith Ramakrishnan

• Dr. Ranjith Ramakrishnan serves as Consultant at the department of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Aster MIMS.

• He deals with early diagnosis and management of cranio- facial deformities with functional and orthopedic appliances, pre and post-surgical orthodontics, fixed and removable orthodontic therapy, orthodontic management cleft lip and palate and orthodontic treatment in craniofacial distraction osteogenesis.

• He worked as consultant orthodontist in numerous centers all across Kerala and has an experience of over 6000 orthodontic cases.

• He has completed his BDS degree from Govt. Dental College Calicut in 2009.

• He has completed MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Govt. Dental College Calicut in the year of 2012.

• He been involved in the development of a new orthodontic index, named The Facial Aesthetic index.

• He has also co-authored an original article regarding the facial aesthetic index in international journal of orthodontic sciences in the year 2016.
