• He is a practising Cardiologist with 47 years of expertise. In 1974, he earned his MBBS from MEERUT UNIVERSITY. In 1978, he received his MD from MEERUT UNIVERSITY.

• He also received his DNB from the National Board of Examination in 1983. He also earned his DM from the University of Delhi in 1982.

• He is a well-known member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Indian Cardiology Society.

• In addition, he is a Fellow of the Indian College of Cardiology and the Interventional College of Angiography.
