• His area of expertise are in coil closure of PDA, Balloon Valvuloplasty, Cardiac catheterization, Echocardiography, Non-surgical closure of PDA including devices.

• For the first time in India, he started the procedure of Balloon dilation of the Arterial Septum and PDA coil closure.

• He is distinguished for performing more than 3000 cardiac catheterizations.

• He has also executed over 5000 echocardiography cases.

•  Dr. Krishnan has performed over 500 Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty cases.
