Dr. Shibil is a consultant pediatric orthopaedician attached to Highland, Indiana, and Unity hospitals in Mangalore. He is an
Associate professor in the Dept of Orthopedics at KIMS, Mangalore.He began his pediatric ortho training at the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada under Professor Unni G.Narayanan.
Later he did his Fellowship in hip preservation under Prof Klaus Seibenrock at the Inselspital, University Hospital Bern, Switzerland where he specialized in pediatric hip preservation, a novel technique to help prevent hip osteoarthritis.
In China, he also represented India at the Weifang International Limb Deformity Correction conference and presented his paper on complex pediatric hip deformity correction with 3D print guides.

He has published several publications in medical journals as a result of his considerable research efforts.
