Dr. S. Shibli

• Dr. Shibil is a consultant pediatric orthopaedician attached to Highland, Indiana, and Unity hospitals in Mangalore. He is an Associate professor in the Dept of Orthopedics at KIMS, Mangalore.

• He began his pediatric ortho training at the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada under Professor Unni G.Narayanan.

• Later he did his Fellowship in hip preservation under Prof Klaus Seibenrock at the Inselspital, University Hospital Bern, Switzerland where he specialized in pediatric hip preservation, a novel technique to help prevent hip osteoarthritis.

• In China, he also represented India at the Weifang International Limb Deformity Correction conference and presented his paper on complex pediatric hip deformity correction with 3D print guides.

 

• He has published several publications in medical journals as a result of his considerable research efforts.
