• Dr Sandip Banerjee specializes in Colorectal & Coloproctology as well as Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery. Graduated from prestigious BJ Medical College Pune and completed his post graduate training in General Surgery from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

• Thereafter he had the opportunity to work as Senior Resident in various eminent hospitals in New Delhi in the Department of Gen & Minimal Invasive Surgery.

• He later completed Fellowship in GI surgery & GI oncology under guidance of Dr Adarsh Chaudhary ( GI surgeon of International Repute) from Medanta Inst of Digestive Surgery.

• He also got Fellowship in Minimal Invasive surgery & Bariatric Surgery from Medanta. Had the opportunity to work with Dr Muffazal Lakadwala (Bariatric Surgeon of International Repute) in the field of Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery. Received Fellowships in Colorectal Surgery from ACRSI.

• He was fortunate to be trained by Prof Joel Leroy & Prof A. Melani (Pioneers of Colorectal Surgery Globally) in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery & Transanal Microsurgery.
