• Dr. Sandip Chakrabarti is extensively trained in Gastrointestinal Hepatobiliary Oncosurgery in India and aboard in U.K. over 10 years.

• He is currently practicing as a senior surgeon with special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery in the field of liver, pancreas and gastro oncosurgery.

• He has recently started performing laparoscopic bariatric surgery and carrying out surgical weight loss program in Columbia Asia Hospital, Kolkata and 4 successful patients have been treated including 1 NRI patient.

• His Present Positions are: Consultant: Columbia Asia Hospital, Salt Lake, joined Columbia Asia Hospital, Salt Lake, Kolkata, as a visiting consultant performing bariatric surgery in surgical weight losing program. • His total experience is more than 25 years in the fields of surgery. He has been associated with various hospitals and clinics in India and also at the UK.

• He has also been a part of teaching fraternity. During his post-graduate residentship in India, he used to teach the medical students and the SHOs. This was a part of his official training program for M.S. In his present job I regularly teach medical students.
