• Dr Shila Mitra is an experienced Radiation Oncologist who has 15 years of expertise to her credit.

• Her areas of expertise lie in various techniques in treating cancer such as Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT), and Brachytherapy.

• She has had in-depth training in Intracranial Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy especially in Gynaecological tumours.

• She is a Member of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology, Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, and Indian Medical Association.

• She has also written several articles and case reports in national and international indexed journals.

• Dr Mitra also attends workshops and programmes like the Continued Medical Education (CME) organised by both national and international faculties.

• She speaks English, Bengali, and Hindi.
