• He did his MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, 1987, MS in General Surgery from Kasturba medical college, Mangalore, Manipal University, Karnataka, 1992, MCh - Plastic Surgery from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, 1996 and DNB - Plastic Surgery - DNB board, New Delhi, 1996.

• He has worked with the Plastic surgery departments of Seth G.S Medical College (KEM Hospital), LTMG (Sion Hospital), and TNMC (Nair Hospital).

• He has also started a foot assessment clinic mainly for diabetic patients, athletes and patients with trauma.
