• Dr. Sumit Mrig is a young, dedicated ENT & head & neck cancer surgeon with special training in the field of cochlear implantation trained by prof. Mario Sana(gruppo otologica, Piacenza, Italy).

• He has also been trained at Singapore general hospital for snoring & sleep apnea treatment.

• He has pioneered the technique of binaural chochlear implantation in India and his team did India's 1st binaural cochlear implant at Primus Hospital.

• He not only has the experience of performing more than 5000 surgeries in the field of ENT, but has lot of academic achievements to his name.

• He is the reviewer of international ENT journals & has numerous international publications to his name. He has also written temporal bone dissection manual for training of ENT surgeons.

• He has recently being awarded "Bharat Excellence Award" for his contribution towards deafness across India
