• Dr. Vijan is a pioneer in his field as he was the one who initiated many new procedures like the first to implant the AICD in Bombay, first to perform the main drug-eluting stenting in Bombay, first to operate the technique of dual-chamber pacing in India, first to work on AXXESS bifurcation stenting in Asia and has been elected as a Proctor for AXXESS bifurcation stents.
