• Dr. Tanweer Shahid is a senior and leading Radiation Oncologist with +17 years of experience in the field of radiation oncology.

• He holds professional memberships of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Medical Council of India.

• Dr. Shahid completed his MBBS in 2001 from Magadh University and then did his DNB in 2007. He also has a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research.

• He is an expert radiation oncologist for offering treatments such as, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and solid cancers of the head & neck/thoracic region/neurological/paediatric and breast, brachytherapy, proton therapy and stereotactic surgery.  Also included in his scope of work are, image-guided radio therapy, intensity-modulated radio therapy, genitourinary malignancies and cranial cyber-knife radiosurgery. He has keen interest in public health and cancer research besides radiation oncology.

• Dr. Shahid has been felicitated by the International Society of Paediatric Oncology and received a travel grant to attend and present a poster in SIOP in Berlin (Germany).

• He has co-authored many research papers in international journals and continuously strives to use his knowledge and experience to give better treatments.
