About Doctor DR. TAYFUN APUHAN

• He is a well-known ear, nose, and throat specialist at Istanbul's Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

  He earned his medical degree from Inonu University's Faculty of English Medicine and completed his residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital.

• He then became an Assistant Professor at Haseki Training and Research Hospital's Department of Otorhinolaryngology.

• He is an active member of a number of organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association, the Turkish Rhinology Association, and the European Facial Plastic Surgery Association.

• He spent four years following his specialty training as a faculty member at Haseki Training and Research Hospital's Department of Otorhinolaryngology. He held positions as a lecturer in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Abant Izzet Baysal University's Faculty of Medicine and as a senior manager in the Faculty of Medicine hospital. 

• He received his training in head and neck surgery at OHIO State University in the United States and in facial and aesthetic surgery at Hamburg's University Medical Center. He taught at Istanbul Gelişim University. 

• Apart from serving as the session chairperson at numerous national and international scientific meetings, he served as an assistant editor, editorial board member, and referee for national and international journals.

• He has performed over 2,000 endoscopic nose and paranasal sinus surgeries, over 1,000 endoscopic ear surgeries, over 1,000 facial plastic surgeries, and over 200 head and neck cancer surgeries during his career.
