Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan

• Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist.

• She has worked as a WHO Coordinator at the Safdarjung Hospital and assisted in performing a facility based critical review of the causes of Maternal Mortality

• She has been bestowed with several awards, including the Dr. N.A. Purandare Conference Prize for the Best Paper in ‘Operative Obstetrics’ at the Annual Conference of MOGS in Mumbai in March 2005
